Hopewell Junction Woman Charged With Leaving Baby Unattended EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Officers of the East Fishkill Police Department arrested Katy Hudson, 32, of Hopewell Junction for allegedly leaving her baby unattended on Nov. 7. After receiving a report of a woman laying in the street on Creekside Rd., officers found Hudson allegedly disoriented and under the influence of drugs. A baby monitor was found in her possession, and officers determined her 5-month-child was left unattended and out of range of the monitor. Mary Hayden, 67, Ridgewood Resident RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Mary Ellen Hayden, of Ridgewood died Tuesday, Nov. 3. from injuries following an automobile accident five days earlier. She was 67. She was born on July 24, 1948 to Joseph F. and Katherine Ryan in Yonkers, N.Y. After graduating from Ridgewood High School, Hayden attended Boston University on an academic scholarship from 1966 to 1969. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeastern Massachusetts University (now UMass-Dartmouth). Three Charged In Gun-Waving Incident In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Three men were arrested after an incident involving a firearm at a Bridgeport establishment on Saturday, Nov. 7, police said. A call at 2 a.m. Nov. 7 reported that patrons were being threatened by three men at an establishment at Madison and Morgan Avenues, police said. Veterans Honored At Sixth Annual Breakfast TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Westchester County's hospice organizations hosted their sixth annual Veterans Breakfast on Friday, Nov. 6. The countywide inter-hospice breakfast was held at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown in honor of county veterans from all five military branches.
