Darien Officers Walk In Heels To Support Domestic Violence Victims
DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien first responders walked a mile in red high heels to support and raise money for victims of domestic violence on Oct. 5. Teams included the Darien Police Department, Darien Fire House, Noroton Fire House, Noroton Heights Fire House and Post 53. Benefits from Walk a Mile in Her Shoes will fund victim services provided by the Domestic Violence Crisis Center and awareness, educational and prevention initiatives. WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Dennis Sica, the "Breaking Bad" dealer of Hudson Valley, was sentenced today to 35 years in prison in U.S. District Court in White Plains. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Southern District of New York, Sica was sentened for participation in a conspiracy to distribute his "Breaking Bad" branded heroin laced with fentanyl. Authorities Ask Public's Help In Search For Patterson Armed Robbery Suspect
PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Additional information has been provided by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on the convenience store that was robbed by a masked gunman Wednesday evening in Patterson. Authorities are seeking help in identifying the suspect in the robbery, which took place at Betzi's Mini Mart at 5 Center St. around 8:15 p.m. The suspect was a male wearing a black hooded jacket, dark pants and a white mask. OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Village Arts Committee will host a concert by Eleanor Dubinsky on Saturday. Dubinsky is a New York City-based singer-songwriter and musician.
