RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Rutherford resident Helen T. Shustowicz (Yurchik) died April, 27. She was 89. She is survived by sons Richard and George Shustowicz. She was predeceased by husband Jacob Shustowicz in 1984. There will be a funeral Mass at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary RC Church, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

OAKLAND, N.J. — Oakland resident Eric C. Scott died Monday, April 25. He was 28. A New York Mets and Jets fan, Scott was a mechanic and carpenter. Known for his generosity, Scott's final act was in line with that quality, providing organ and tissue donation.
