Edward Joseph Gronek, 93, Of Rochelle Park ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. – Edward Joseph Gronek, of Rochelle Park, died Monday, Oct. 19 at the New Jersey Veterans Home in Paramus. He was 93. Gronek was born in Garfield, and lived in Lodi before moving to Rochelle Park. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, earning the Philippine Liberation Medal with two Bronze Stars, the Asiatic-Pacific Medal with the Bronze Stars and the American Theater Victory Medal. New Dutchess County Legislature Will Feature Plenty Of New Faces POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Dutchess County Legislature will see an unusually high turnover when the new County Legislature convenes in January, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. At least seven new legislators will hold seats after Tuesday election. Five sitting legislators declined to run, and two more failed to win party primaries earlier this year, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal.
