Julia Foster, 83, Of Darien DARIEN, Conn. – Julia Randolph Foster, of Darien, died Oct. 5. She was 83. Foster was born Dec. 16, 1931, in Rahway, N.J., to Robert and Frances Randolph. She grew up in Westfield, N.J., attending Wells College in Aurora, N.Y. as a Spanish Language major, studying in Mexico. Foster was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her step-sister, Susan (Shy) Bourgeois; three daughters, Sarah Foster Erickson, Marguerite Bonney Foster, Susan Kelly Foster; and two grandsons. Cindy Rivera, 37, was charged with two third-degree felonies, grand larceny and welfare fraud, after the county discovered she allegedly stole over $41,000 of benefits from July 2011 to 2012.
