Delays, Detours Announced For Bedford 5K Color Run BEDFORD, N.Y. – Bedford police want residents to be aware of delays and detours in the area during Sunday morning's 5K Color Run, set to take place between 10 a.m. and noon. The roads most affected will be South Bedford Road (along Route 172), Succabone Road, Guard Hill Road and Baldwin Road. Motorists are urged to use Bedford Center Road for travel during the race, and police will be manning detours in the area.

Elvis Romero, 42, of Wayne was in the process of buying the drugs when detectives identified themselves, and he tried to flee, the story said. Romero faces heroin possession, eluding and various traffic charges, reported NJ.com. Cause Of Eveready Diner Fire In Rhinebeck Determined RHINEBECK, N.J. – The cause of the fire that destroyed the Eveready Diner in Rhinebeck on Saturday has been determined, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. A fire started in one of the diner's deep fryers and spread, as employees told investigators and confirmed by the Rhinebeck Fire Department. The fire was thought put out by an extinguisher, but it reignited and spread to the kitchen ceiling, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal. Judge OKs Sale Of Mount Kisco A&P To Stop & Shop MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – A bankruiptcy court judge okayed the sale of the A&P supermarket in Mount Kisco to Stop & Shop on Friday, according to LoHud.com. The $25.4 million sale price was the highest in A&P's ongoing bankruptcy. The price was justified by A&P lawyers pointing out the location was the chain's most profitable, reported LoHud.com.
