Miles C. "Chucky" Larrabee Jr. , 57, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. – Miles “Chucky” C. Larrabee Jr., of Yonkers, died Oct. 13. He was 57.
He was a woodworker and liked to travel.
Larrabee was predeceased by sister Toni Pecora, and is survived by his wife Lori (nee Scaramuzzino), three children, Christine, Nicholas, and Steven, two grandchildren, Damian Larrabee and Ava Tartaglione. and two siblings, Joseph Larrabee, Robin Soto.
The Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester handled arrangements.

Frances Cortellessa, 98, Of Mount Vernon
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Frances Cortellessa, of Mount Vernon, died Oct. 14. She was 98.
Cortellessa was born July 30, 1917, in Mount Vernon, to Carmelo and Christine Lombardo.
She was predeceased by her husband Ralph and brother Joseph Lombardo.
Cortellessa is survived by two children, Susan Belfiglio and Dominick Cortellessa, daughter-in-law Dorothy Cortellessa, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Lillian Anna Obuszynski Guerin, of Peekskill and formerly of Hastings, died on Monday, Oct. 12. She was 96.
Guerin was born May 16, 1919, and grew up in New York City.
She was predeceased by her husband James, and is survived by four daughters, Sr. Anne James, FMSC, Ann Romansky Sedar, Kathie Milanese and her husband Rob, Theresa Barton and her husband John, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a niece and nephews.

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Gladys C. Collier, a lifelong resident of the Peekskill and Cortlandt areas, died Oct. 13. She was 92.
Collier was born March 17, 1923, to Elias and Frances (nee Strang) Chapman.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Robert, brother Robert Chapman and sister Elizabeth Rasbeck.
Collier is survived by her son Robert and his wife Sioux, daughter Catherine Sloat and her husband James, four grandchildren, and several nieces and a nephew.

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – Cristina Serino, of Cortlandt Manor, died Tuesday, Oct. 13. She was 80.
Serino was born March 14, 1935, in Italy to Eugene and Rosalia (nee Razza) Bizzarro.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Giovani and Lorenzo Bizzarro, and two sisters, Carmelina Capone and Franca Lanni.
Serino is survived by her husband Nazzaro, son Luigi and his wife Tammy, daughter Giulietta "Julie" Magill, brother Saverio Bizzarro, sister Mary Lou Ripari, and five grandchildren.

Williams was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Sam and Helen Spiegel.
She worked in New York City for various corporations and the Jewish Braille Institute.

GREENWICH, Conn. – Andrew G. Spyrou, of Greenwich and Skiathos, Greece, died Oct. 12. He was 95.
Spyrou was born on the island of Syros in Greece, studying at the Maritime College in Greece and the Royal Technical College (now The University of Strathclyde) in Glasgow, Scotland.
He was a naval architect and maritime engineer, as well as a founding member of the Institution of Nuclear Engineers in London.

NAUGATUCK, Conn. – Michael A. Sposta, of Naugatuck, died on Oct. 9. He was 52.
Sposta was born in Port Chester, N.Y. on July 28, 1963, living most of his life in Norwalk and graduating from Brien McMahon High School in 1981.
He served in the U.S.Army, receiving the Army Achievement Medal for Outstanding Performance in diesel mechanics and generators and was honorably discharged in 1987.
In 1988, Sposta graduated from Porter & Chester Institute and worked for the Norwalk Transit District as a diesel mechanic.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Yolanda "Lonni" M. Smith, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died Oct. 12 at Edge Hill.
Smith was born Nov. 20, 1937, to Joseph Rocco Carcusa and Marie Christine Carcusa, graduating from Mother of God Academy in Stamford and the nursing program at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury.
She returned to the work force as her children grew older, working up to the position of court clerk with the State of Connecticut Juvenile Court Division until retirement.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Mary Inzitari Herman, of Stamford, died Oct. 11 at St. Camillus Health Care Center. She was 102.
Herman was born Dec. 8, 1912, to Pasquale and Felicia Ciombrone Inzitari.
She was a seamstress, worked at New Canaan Country Day and worked as the parts manager alongside her son and grandson at Shippan Shore Marina and John W. Herman Marine Center.
