Launching at 4 p.m. Thursday is Needlemania!, a crochet club for kids in third grade and up. It's scheduled every Thursday through Nov. 5. Registration is required at the library's website. Bethel Man Charged With DUI After Crash BETHEL, Conn. – A Bethel man faces drunken-driving charges after a crash on Wednesday left his car and another with heavy damage, according to the News-Times. Thomas Craughwell, 59, also was charged with failure to drive right after the crash, police told the News-Times. Craughwell failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of .25 when taking a breathalyzer test an hour after the crash, reported the News-Times.
