Joan Reynolds, 84, Of Ossining OSSINING, N.Y. – Joan Reynolds, of Ossining, died Oct. 6 at her home in Ossining. She was 84. She was born Aug. 13, 1931 in Stamford, Conn., to Willis and Angelina Nobile Springer. Reynolds became a certified home health aide late in life before retiring in 2008. She and her husband were longtime members of the Westchester Democratic Committee and served as election inspectors for 32 years. She was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her husband William, two sisters, Vivian Brown of Peekskill and Petrina Head of Dover Plains, and by two brothers, Felix and Joseph Springer. …

Fairfield Police Looking For Suspects Who Shoplifted Condoms, Baby Formula FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Police Department is looking for two suspects in a Wednesday night shoplifting incident at a local Walgreens. Two Hispanic men were involved in the shoplifting of condoms, baby formula, hair care products, and Dove soap at around 9:30 p.m., police said. They filled two carry baskets with items, hopping into a waiting dark-colored Jeep with no front plate, and headed toward Bridgeport, police said. The publication and website will have local phone numbers, school schedules, recycling information, sponsorships, and community events available. All listings are free of charge for any company, and the deadline is Oct. 23 for submissions. Any questions can be emailed to westchester@townplanner.com and listings will be available online at townplanner.com in January.
