Aiding in the setup for Taste of Tuckahoe event in March or April. Collecting money for the Spring Social. Helping with the setup for the 12th-grade students/parents dinner in June. Raquel Lozada Andrade, 60, Of Hackensack HACKENSACK, N.J. — Raquel Lozada Andrade, of Hackensack, died Monday, Sept. 28. She was 60. She worked as a nursing assistant at the Regent Care Center in Hackensack. Andrade is survived by her four children, Ferney Valverde, Ronith Salas, Christian Valverde and Jennifer Valverde, and eight grandchildren. By request, cremation services were private.

Village Lutheran Church Completes Refugee School Kit Drive In Bronxville BRONXVILLE, N.Y. — Village Lutheran Church and the Chapel School completed its month-long school supply drive on Sept. 13. The annual drive, sponsored by Lutheran World Relief, had a special focus this year as supplies were to be earmarked for Syrian children living in adverse situations. More than100 school kits were put together and sent to a main warehouse in Baltimore. From there, the church will track who receives the packages.
