Suspect In Slaying Of Westchester Philharmonic Violinist Pleads Guilty WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. — One of the two men arrested in the 2014 slaying of a Westchester County Philharmonic guitarist pled guilty to second-degree murder charges on Monday, according to WRFA. Charles Sanford accepted a plea deal and will likely testify against the other man charged in the murder, Jonathon Conklin, in a trial expected to begin this spring. Byram Hills Soccer Team Honors Former Player In Armonk ARMONK, N.Y. — The Byram Hills High School soccer team dedicated their Sept. 25 game to the memory of former player Andrew Ecker, according to All About Armonk. Ecker, who played for the team from 2002-04, recently died of brain cancer. The team honored Ecker by singing the school's fight song, as is traditional before games, and a pre-game eulogy was given, reported All About Armonk. The team defeated Harrison 3-0.
