Man Faces Charges After Taconic State Parkway Crash LAGRANGE, N.Y. – A Brooklyn man faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance after being in a one-car crash on the Taconic State Parkway in LaGrange early Tuesday morning. Rene L. Llanos, 28, was traveling northbound at around 2:30 a.m. when his vehicle went off the roadway and ended up in a wooded area in the center median. When troopers arrived, they discovered Llanos was in possession of almost 16 grams of cocaine. Medical Helicopter To Land In Stratford Park For Training Exercise STRATFORD, Conn. – Stratford residents should keep their eyes on the sky late Wednesday afternoon, as the Yale New Haven Hospital 'SkyHealth' helicopter will be landing at Boothe Memorial Park as part of a training exercise. The Stratford Fire Department and EMS along with representatives from Bridgeport Hospital will all be present at the park's upper field around 5:30 p.m. as the helicopter lands. Plans include several training scenarios involving how to approach the helicopter while its blades are turning when trying to load a patient into the helicopter.
